Victoria Marchenkova explores various mechanisms of distancing from reality: the use of unsuitable visual languages, creating fictional narratives, use  of prejudices rooted in the culture, radicalized naivety, amorphism, unconsciousness. The author does not give a dogmatic critics, cultivating aesthetical shift and state of instability in her works.
